What I've been working on.

I know, I know... I've been gone for way to long, right?
I know. But here are the good news: I've also been working in so many new things and improving old things that I was just too busy to stop a minute and update the blog.

But her I am and I am excited to show all I have been doing. Also, I will be reformulating the blog to make it easier for purchases and to view all the products.

First, here's this adorable kimono inspired dress. I love it!!!!

Then, I improved the ties on the bodysuits. I dont wanna talk smack about my own product, but I wasnt really happy with the first bodysuit I made...neither with the second. But this last one is just perfect. :)

Here's a set of burp cloths that will be shipped this week for a soon mom-to-be that is anxiously waiting for little boy to come. In the same shipping will be a car seat canopy and a nursing cover, all in the same print.

This adorable tote I made as a special order to be shipped to Hawaii. Loved making it and will make many more.

Okay, let's go into my crochet little things. Love love love them!!! they are so much fun to make.
Look how cute these little bows are:

What about this darling crochet hat?

Then, finally, there are some of the shirts I put applique of this gorgeous Fall prints.

 Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet little special order

Living in Utah has its advantages (among so many others): you get to go to TONS of baby showers!! :)

And baby showers are SO fun for me, first, because I love babies, I love being pregnant, I love seeing this new little one and mommy being spoiled and receiving tons of presents; second, I get to hang out with friends and have a great time; last, but no least, I get to give gifts I made myself specially for baby and mommy.

This last week I was working on this sweet little special order.
Our friends Michael and Kristi are having their first baby and I am seriously so excited for them.
Months ago I saw this fabric on Riley Blake website and I knew I'd have to make something with it for the parents-to-be...or the baby, for that matter. :)
Michael and Kristi looooooveee skulls. They have the picture all over their house. I just HAD to make them something with the same theme right?

I sure had a lot of fun making those gifts. So here we go:

the car seat canopy:

Because skulls in a black background is not that girl-y, I had to pair it with some pink fabric and ric rac. Oh my!!! I didnt think it was going to turn out THIS cute!!!

Then, I made a little burp cloth.....

and, of course, I HAD to make a little hair clip. What girl doesnt like a cute hair clip?

And to top it all off, I made this applique of flower on a baby bodysuit. CUUUTEEEE!!

Congrats Michael and Kristi!!! Can't wait to see baby girl's little face!!

Are you ready for some boy cuteness??

I've been asked a lot about boy clothing and although I have many ideas for it, I dont have enough time that I'd need to spend creating, trying, sewing, re-sewing, and so forth.

However, this last week as I was making a baby shower gift for one of my friends who is having a baby boy, I couldnt help myself and had to sew something with a boy theme. Turns out that some stuff are easier and faster than I thought and maybe I'll have more of them coming up soon and even more of other styles.
I do have tons of projects for boys on my "to-do" and "on-going" list  but, really, I just dont have the time to finish them right now.
Please, be patient!!
This upcoming week is when I finish a big order of dresses I had and hopefully everything will clear up a little and I'll be able to come up with beautiful things for all the little boys out there.

Meanwhile, enjoy what I've done this week:

Ribbon Blankeys

Perfect size for baby's hands, little games of peak-a-boo while in church or at the doctor's office. Perfect baby shower gift.

Disclaimer: This one is just a sample and I made for my daughter's baby doll. If making for a real baby, the ribbons will be all woven ribbons, stripe ribbons or ric rac. Painted ribbons can me harmful for baby as the paint can come off in baby's mouth.
